Ruth E. Carpeta

 

 

 

            Ruth E. Carpeta, 82, of Finleyville died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Residence at Hilltop Care Center in Carroll Township surrounded by her loving family.

            She was born November 2, 1932 in Finleyville; a daughter of Howard and Mary Fabian England.

            Mrs. Carpeta was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of the Mingo Ladies and Thursday Ladies card clubs.

            Surviving are her son, Charles W. Carpeta and his wife Mary Ellen of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Nancy Pietroforte and her husband Frank of Finleyville and Sharon West and her husband Gregg of Monongahela; a sister, Lorraine ‘Bunny’ Brewer of Bunola; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are her husband, Charles C. Carpeta, who died in March of 2006, and a brother, Harry England.

            Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue in Finleyville.  Funeral services will be private.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis Ladies of Charity, c/o St. Francis Church, 3609 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, PA 15332.
