Dan was a dear friend to me, my brother John, and our entire family. Growing up, he was our first friend from outside our isolated one-way street, becoming friends with John in the first grade.
He was a good and kind soul who will be greatly missed.
On behalf of the entire Brandt Family, our heartfelt sympathies are with all of Dan's family and friends.
