August P. ‘Augie’ Meinhardt

            August P. ‘Augie’ Meinhardt, 75, of Finleyville, Nottingham Township, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home.

            He was born August 23, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York; a son of August M. and Lillian Essenbreis Meinhardt.

            Mr. Meinhardt was retired as a sheet metal worker with Chapman Corporation in Washington.

            He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

            Surviving is a son, Daniel Meinhardt of Finleyville; a sister, June Rose Bellofatto of Seaford, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

            Deceased is his wife, Angelia Gentile Meinhardt, who died in May of 2010.

            At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 Friends of August P. ‘Augie’ Meinhardt of Finleyville, who died Saturday, October 22, 2016, will be received on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 4-6P.M., the time of a memorial service, at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, in Finleyville.
