Barbara Horwith

Barbara Horwith, 82, of McMurray, passed away Wednesday January 22, 2025.

She was born March 4, 1942, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Berlinsky.

Barb was the owner of the former Stephanie’s Hair Designers in Finleyville.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirates Fan, enjoyed her scratch-off tickets but most importantly spending time with her family.  Barb also took pride in being a licensed cosmetologist and phlebotomist and opening her home to foreign exchange students from Spain.

Surviving are two sons; Eric (John Komisary) Horwith of Pittsburgh and Michael (Ambra) Horwith of Denver, Co, five grandchildren; Benjamin, Andrew, Zachary, Abigail and Elizabeth, niece; Jennifer (Rich) Bakey and great nephew and nieces; Richie, Jessica and Danielle

Deceased are her sister and brother-in-law; Joann and Tom Yonek and granddaughter Sarah.

The family would like to thank the staff of Vanadium Woods Village for their wonderful and compassionate care.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm Saturday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  Funeral services will begin at 2pm following visitation.  Private interment will be held in Forest Lawn Gardens.  Memorial donations can be made Vanadium Woods in memory of Barbara and sent to c/o Asbury Foundation 700 Bower Hill Road Pittsburgh, PA 15243
