Betty J. Holt

            Betty J. Holt, 82, of Finleyville died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the home of her granddaughter.

            She was born September 19, 1935 in Elrama; a daughter of Mike and Elizabeth Savel Poziviak.

            Mrs. Holt had been employed as a beautician at the former Todd’s House of Beauty in Finleyville.

            She was a member of Mingo Presbyterian Church in Finleyville.

Surviving are a son, Gary ‘Moose’ Holt of Finleyville; two brothers, Mike Poziviak of Columbus, OH and John Poziviak of Dunlevy; a granddaughter, Lauren Powell (Chris) of Finleyville; two great grandsons, Hunter and Waylon Powell and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased is her husband, John ‘Jack’ Holt, who died in August of 2017 and a daughter, Deborah Graham.

            Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David. P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue in Finleyville.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Mingo Presbyterian Church, 561 Mingo Church Road in Finleyville.  Everyone please meet at the church Monday morning. Private interment will be in Mingo Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Mingo Presbyterian Church or American Heart Association.
