Beverly Y. Mervin

            Beverly Y. Mervin, 80, of McMurray died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Canonsburg Hospital.

            She was born September 14, 1936 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of Ralph and Martha Greaves Crouch.

            Mrs. Mervin was a homemaker and a member of the Daughter of the American Revolution.

            She enjoyed playing cards with friends, was an excellent seamstress, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

            Surviving are her husband, James Mervin; four sons, Jeffrey Mervin (Ann) of Tucson, AZ, Richard Mervin (Maria) of Washington, Scott Mervin (Tracy) of Salt Lake City, UT and Michael Mervin (Kathy) of Austin, TX; a brother, Larry Crouch of Myrtle Beach, FL; a sister, Linda Nielsen of Glen Aubrey, NY; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are a brother, Daniel Crouch, and a sister, Donna Conwell.

            At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing.

            Friends will be received on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 1-3 P.M., the time of a service with Pastor Gary LaPietra officiating, at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville.  Private inurnment will be held in Finleyville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to AHN Hospice & Palliative Care Fund, 4818 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15224.
