Donald Campitella

Donald Campitella, 93, of Eighty Four, passed away Friday August 29, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born May 22, 1932, in Saltsburg, a son of the late Anthony and Rose Campitella.

Don was retired from the FAA where he worked for 42 as a Radar Technician.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.  He was an avid history buff and enjoyed collecting coins.

Surviving are three sons, Mark Campitella (Chrissie), David Campitella (Kathy) and Michael Campitella (Richelle); two daughters, Susan Masters (David) and Rebecca McConnell (Sean), nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his wife Marian Campitella, four sisters and three brothers.

            Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Wednesday in St Francis of Assisi Church (St. John XXIII Parish) with interment following in Forest Lawn Gardens.  Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
