Dorothy Jones

            Dorothy Jones, 88, of Finleyville died Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Pines of Mt. Lebanon assisted living center.

            She was born July 11, 1928 in Elrama; a daughter of John and Helen Ivansin Magiske.

            Mrs. Jones was retired as a dietary aide at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills Borough.

            She was a member of the Elrama Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and bingo.

            Surviving are two sons, Charles R. ‘Chuck’ Jones of Brick, NJ and Carl Jones and his wife Leslie of Eighty-Four; a daughter, Karen Cerra and her husband Sam of Wheeling, WV; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Chad, Derek and Lauren; two great grandchildren, Carson and Whitney; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are her husband, Charles E. ‘Chuck’ Jones, who died in July of 1990; three brothers and four sisters.

            Friends will be received on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10 A.M. until the time of  services at 12 noon at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville.  Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.  Memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA  15235.  Condolences to kegelfuneralhome.com.
