Edith M. Ostrander

            Edith M. Ostrander, 93, of Finleyville died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her home.

            She was born November 18, 1923 in Westland; a daughter of George and Anna Jenkins Russell.

            Mrs. Ostrander was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.

            Surviving are a son, Justin Ostrander of Finleyville; two sisters, June Morris and Betty Condie (Dave), both of Finleyville; several nieces and nephews, and her close friend ‘Bear’.

            Deceased are her husband, William ‘Bill’ Ostrander, who died in December of 2011; two brothers, William and Donald Russell; and a sister, Dorothy Dodd.

            There will be no public visitation.  Private inurnment will be in James Chapel Cemetery, Finleyville.

            Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
