Edna P. Russell

            Edna P. Bowers Russell, 91, of Finleyville died Wednesday April 7, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital.

            She was born August 20, 1929 in Gastonville; a daughter of Michael F. Sr. and Edna Foster Garry.

            Edna was retired as a secretary for former District Magistrate James Ellis in Peters Township.

            She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and a life member of the Hackett Club.

            Surviving are her son, Joseph Bowers (Michele) of Finleyville; a daughter, Deborah Trickett (Richard) of London England; a sister, Bertha Mae Leach of Finleyville; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are three brothers, Michael, Jr., John (Jack) and James Garry.

            At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation.  Private interment will be held in Finleyville Cemetery.
