George E. Kelch
George E. Kelch, 79, of Finleyville died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 12, 1938 in Pittsburgh; a son of George and Cathern Edmund Kelch.
Mr. Kelch was retired as a group leader at the former U.S. Steel Homestead Works and as a custodian at Peters Township Middle School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of American Legion Post 613 and life member of Moose Lodge 172, both in Finleyville.
Mr. Kelch enjoyed horseback and bull riding and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Anne Yarina Kelch; a daughter, Deborah Davis and her husband Ryan of Latrobe; a brother, Richard (Marianna) Kelch of Pittsburgh; a granddaughter, Melissa Davis; three nephews, Richard, Christopher (Christine) and Timothy (Denae) Kelch; and his beloved dog, ‘Chance’.
Deceased is a brother, Lawrence Kelch.
Friends will be received from 2-6 P.M Sunday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 15, 2018, Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Heartland Hospice, 750 Holiday Drive, Suite 110, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
