Gladys Yunkun

Gladys J, Yunkun, 96, of Finleyville, passed away Monday December 2, 2024 in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born May 29, 1928, in Gastonville, a daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn Murray Wietrzykowski

Gladys was retired from PNC Bank in Monongahela where she worked as a Teller.  She enjoyed bowling, golf, building puzzles and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons; Christopher (Dawn) Yunkun of Chicago Il and Jeffrey (Kim) Yunkun of Louisville, Ky, one daughter; Kathleen (Donald) Bushyager of Pittsburgh, one brother; Walter Wietrzykowski, two sisters; Arlene Miller and Grace Andrewson, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband; Constantine Yunkun and four sisters; Shirley, Carole, Gloria and Ruth.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday December 9 in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville where services will begin 11am Tuesday December 10 with interment following in Mingo Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
