Helen R. Bores
Helen Mae Rokach Bores, loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, 89, of Finleyville went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the home of her daughter with her family at her side.
She was born January 9, 1928 in Burgettstown; a daughter of George and Susan Omasta Rokach.
Mrs. Bores was retired as a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service in Finleyville.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 613 in Finleyville.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Bores III and his wife Jody of Houston, TX; a daughter, Linda Kozleuchar and her husband Frank of Finleyville; four grandchildren, Frank Kozleuchar, Jr., Lori (Michael) Slifko, and Jacqui and Julianna Bores; two great grandsons, Joseph and George Slifko; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Joseph Bores, Jr, who died in November of 1998, and a sister, Dolly Michalic.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Finleyville, with Reverend Robert J. Boyle as celebrant. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray. Memorial contributions can be made to USO Department WS, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, D.C. 20090-6860.
