Irene M. Allridge, 92, of Finleyville, died Thursday July 4, 2024, at AHN Jefferson Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born December 12, 1931, in Finleyville, a daughter of the late George and Annie Whale Glaser.
Irene was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville. She worked at the former Finleyville Furniture Store, enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino, and yardwork. She will be fondly remembered as “Clean Irene”, a kind and gentle hard worker.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years Russell Allridge, one grandson; David (Amanda) Kegel of Finleyville, one daughter in law; Denise Kegel of Finleyville; one step-daughter; Sherry (Tom) Blaskovich of Finleyville; two step-granddaughters; Tammy (Jason) Merschat and Tiffany (Rich) Bender, three step-great granddaughters Diora, Viana and Anesa Bender; son in law David Kreutzer, two nephews; Barry and Brian Glaser and a large extended family and many friends.
Deceased are her first Husband; Arvin Kegel, her only son; Tim P. Kegel, brother Raymond Glaser, niece Pam Glaser and stepdaughter JoAnn Kreutzer
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Sunday and 1-3 and 5-7pm Monday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville. Funeral services will begin 11am Tuesday in the Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Young officiating. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
