Isabelle Boyka
Isabelle Boyka, 80, of Sewickley, formerly of Finleyville, died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Rest Assured Living Center in Meyersdale.
She was born September 26, 1936 in Fredonia, Mercer County; a daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Thompson Bower.
Mrs. Boyka was a homemaker and had been employed as a secretary at American Standard Plumbing and Heating in Pittsburgh and at the former Millers Woman’s Apparel at South Hills Village.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Finleyville.
Surviving are two daughters, Renee Boyka and Racquel Chisholm, both of Sewickley; and three grandchildren, Gabrielle Buchan and Brooke and Bria Chisholm.
Deceased is her husband, George Boyka, Jr., who died in June of 1991.
Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until 12 noon, Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon. Inurnment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
