J. Robert Ondulick

            J. Robert Ondulick, 85, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in San Dimas, CA.

            He was born May 19, 1931 in Monessen; a son of John and Agnes Lori Ondulick.

            Mr. Ondulick was retired as a biology teacher and member of the football coaching staff at Peters Township High School and also taught youth at the Washington County Correctional Facility.

            He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in McMurray, member and Past Worshipful Master of Chartiers Lodge #297, F & AM; and past president of the board at the former Western Center.

            Robert was a devoted husband and father and was well loved by family and friends.

            Surviving are his wife, Barbara Sanc Ondulick; a son, Dr. Brian Ondulick (Kristin) of Kettering, OH; a daughter, Diane Dolanch (Larry) of San Dimas, CA; two brothers, Dan Ondulick (Jan) of Charleroi and Don Ondulick (Josie) of Belle Vernon; six grandchildren, Victoria, Grace, Jack, Larry, Kate and Luke; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are a daughter, Nancy Ondulick, and a brother, Dean Ondulick.

            Private inurnment was held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

            Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 530 Center Church Road, McMurray, PA   15317, with Pastor Jeff Vanderhoff and Reverend Dr. Erwin Kerr officiating.
