James Martin

James F. Martin, 94, of Eighty Four, passed away Saturday January 11,2025

He was born February 6, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Charles and Evelyn Martin.

Jim was retired from active service in the United States Marine Corps.  After the service, he worked as a repairman for Sears.  He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Surviving are his wife; Irene Novak Martin, two sons; Karl and Daniel Martin, two daughters; Michelle (Late Joseph) Babyak and Paula Werner, three grandchildren; Steven, Sarah and Jennifer and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 1-4pm Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P.  Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville, where a blessing service will begin at 11am Friday.  Private interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Memorial donations can be made to the St. John XXIII Interfaith Food Pantry 3609 Washington Ave Finleyville, PA 15332
