James "Jim" Suty

James “Jim” Suty, 76, of New Eagle, passed away Monday August 5, 2024.

He was born September 26, 1947, in New Eagle, a son of the late Robert and Mary Barton Suty.

Jim was retired from Westinghouse Electric, where he worked for over 35 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a veteran of the U.S Navy serving during Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars.  After retirement, he enjoyed playing the guitar.

Surviving are his wife Beth Lambermont, daughter Sonya Suty, grandson; Tyler Wilkes and brother Robert (Eileen) Suty, daughter in law, Sarah Suty and a large extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville, where services will begin at 7pm.  Interment will be held at 10am Monday in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Memorial donations can be made to the Washington Area Humane Society 1527 S.R. 136 Eighty-Four PA 15330
