James “Jim” Wardle Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of James “Jim” E. Wardle announce his peaceful passing in his home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the age of 82. 

 

He was a retired steel worker from Cooper Power Systems in Canonsburg, PA.

But most of all he was a loving husband of the late Mary Ann Wardle for 62 years. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Lori Schiffhauer (and husband, Scott), Christine Windsheimer (and husband, Joseph), Jeffrey Wardle (and wife,Cathy), grandchildren, Rachel Fanshaw (and husband, Steven), Eric Schiffhauer (and wife, Margaret), Anthony Windsheimer (and wife, Lluvia), Tyler Windsheimer (and wife, Katie), Nathanael Wardle; great grandchildren, Adrienne, Benjamin and Layla. He is survived by his brother Ronald Wardle and sister Linda Pekruland numerous other family members.

 

Jim was a kind, patient and loving man who enjoyed spending time golfing, fishing, boating and spending time with his family.

 

There will be no public visitation.  A graveside service will be held on, Saturday, July 16th at 12:00 Noon at Finleyville Cemetery. Following the service a celebration of Jim’s life will be held at his home.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Finleyville 

 

The family would like to thank the nurses at Concordia Hospice Care of Washington for their care of Jim during his time of need.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or Concordia Hospice Care of Washington at 10 Leet Street Washington, PA 15301
