Janet Keyser

Janet Ellen Henry Keyser passed away Sunday June 25, 2023 at Southmont Presbyterian Care in Washington, Pa under the wonderful care of the staff of Gateway Hospice and Southmont. 

            She was born September 23,1938 in Pittsburgh to Charles Floyd and Mary Henry

            Janet lived her early years in Dormont before moving to Cecil Township.  She graduated from Cecil High School in 1957.

            Janet was employed by National Supply Co., Abbott Laboratories and retired from Icon Business Solutions in 1998

            In 1971 She married Harold D. Keyser who preceded her in death December 2003.  They made their home in Venetia.

            Janet and Harold enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and spending time at their cabin near Somerset, Pa.

            Janet is survived by her dear friends of over 60 years, Elaine Deliere, ruth Fulton Raspet, Alice Swihart Koceski and good friend Carol Thropp, who helped Janet at home.

            Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm, the time of services, Wednesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville.  Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery.
