John Novak

John N. Novak, 87, of Nottingham Township, died Friday February 9, 2024, at home.

He was born October 21, 1936, in Donora, a son of the late Nick and Anna Novak.

John retired from Reichhold Chemical in Bridgeville where he worked as a millwright.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years Alberta Novak, two daughters; Christine (Gregory) Modery of McMurray and Becky (Richard) Dixon of Pittsburgh, three granddaughters; Stephanie Modery (Fiancé Richard), Molly and Morgan Dixon, two brothers; Edwin and Kenneth Novak, two sisters; Irene (James) Martin and Mary Ann (Charles) Keiffer and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jay of Concordia Visiting Nurses, Robin of Family Hospice, as well as Doctors Amar Bansal, Kevin Fritz and Christopher Marsh for their special care and support.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-7pm Tuesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville, where funeral services will begin 11am Wednesday with interment following in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
