John B. Leppla

            John B. Leppla, 76, of Greentree, died Sunday January 14, 2024, at home.

            He was born February 22, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Ruth Burcham Leppla.

            John was the owner of JB Leppla Electrical Contracting, an electrical contracting company in the Pittsburgh area. He enjoyed boating, camping, and traveling, especially trips in his motorhome.

            Surviving are his wife Bridget Bryan Leppla, one son; Derek Burrell of Greentree, one daughter; April (Jeff) Rucker of Scott Township, eight grandchildren; Dominick, Megan, Nathan, Jacob, Grace, Payton, Rylee, and Kaydin, three brothers-in-law; Art King, Charles P. (Kathi) Bryan and Michael H. Bryan and several nieces and nephews.  

            Deceased in addition to his parents is his sister Donna King.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life being held from 12noon to 5pm Sunday January 21, 2024, at their private residence.  Those wishing to attend may contact John’s daughter April via email at anjshorts09@gmail.com with any questions. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. in Finleyville.  Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
