John E “Jack” Livingston, 81, of Finleyville, died Thursday March 7, 2024 in the VA Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born September 24, 1942 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John W. and Hope Livingston.
Jack was retired as a steel worker from J&L Steel. He was a member of the Dormont Mt Lebanon Sportsman Club and was an avid hunter. Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife Jean Jester Livingston, one daughter; Robin (Michael) Fartini of Newell, six grandchildren; Justine, Kristen, John II, Emily, Michael II and Peyton, three great grandchildren; Layken, Aspen and Joseph III, one nephew; John Kennedy and one niece Lynne Kennedy.
Deceased are his son John R. Livingston, brother Jimmy Livingston and sister Ruby Falce.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville where funeral services will begin 1pm Tuesday with interment with full military honors following in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial donations can be made to a veteran’s organization of the donor’s choice.
