Jon S. Larson

Jon S. Larson, 42, of Finleyville, passed away Saturday November 23, 2024.

            He was born March 7, 1982, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Jon and Denise Kruszewski Larson.

            Jon graduated in 2002 from the Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh and was employed as a chef for many local restaurants.

            Surviving are his children; Jon and Emily Larson, one sister; Erika (Mike) Podnar of Washington, one Aunt; Lois Krista, one Uncle; Mitchell Kruszewski and cousins; Karen Kayus, Chuck Kiger Jr., Amanda Blazer, Albert and Stanley Kruszewski.

            Deceased in addition to his parents are his grandparents; Richard and Gloria Larson and Stanley and Lois Kruszewski, two uncles; Albert and Robert Kruszewski and one aunt; Stephanie Kiger.

            Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Saturday in St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John XXIII Parish) 3609 Washington Avenue Finleyville with interment following in Lebanon Church Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to the Washington Area Humane Society 1527 S.R. 136 Eighty Four PA 15330
