Joseph Janosik, 94, of Finleyville, passed away Tuesday July 29, 2025, at home.
He was born November 28, 1930, in Ambridge, a son of the late Paul and Anna Janosik.
Joe was retired from the bureau of mines. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was an avid deer hunter and was involved in local youth sports, spearheading the efforts to build baseball fields in the Finleyville area.
Surviving are three daughters; Patti (Donny) Zur, Nanci (Ray) Hickey and Valerie (Tom) Nehilla, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Deceased are his wife Jean Janosik and ten siblings.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville, where funeral services will begin at 11am on Friday with interment following in Jefferson Memorial Park.
