Karen J. Andrews

            Karen J. Andrews,79, of Country Meadows, formerly of Finleyville, died Tuesday March 21,2023 in Country Meadows Retirement Community of Bridgeville.

            She was born August 11, 1943, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Germanowski.  She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Parochial School and a 1961 graduate of Braddock High School.

            Karen was retired from PNB Bank where she worked as a teller.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and the Christian Mother’s group.  She enjoyed Doo-Wop music, all things Polish, bowling, gardening, family geneology and her animals.

            Surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews and a family of friends.

            Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband Samuel Andrews, brother; Stanley Germanowski Jr. and sister Barbara Germanowski Gelzhiser.

            Visitation will be held from 2-6pm Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday in St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John XXIII Parish) 3609 Washington Avenue Finleyville. Private interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to the church at the above address.
