LaVerne Gasior

            LaVerne Gasior, 89, of Finleyville, passed away Monday May 18, 2026.

She was born June 5, 1936, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Norbert and Hilda Merkel.

LaVerne was a homemaker, member of St. Francis of Assis Church in Finleyville and enjoyed crafting with her craft club.

Surviving are three sons; Chet (Melissa) Gasior, Paul Gasior and David (Shelly DeRossa) Gasior, one daughter; Darlene (Michael) Reynolds, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Deceased is her husband Chet Gasior who passed in 2019.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10am Friday in St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John XXIII Parish) with entombment following in Forest Lawn Gardens.  Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
