Lois J. Curdie

 

 

            Lois J. Curdie, 91, formerly of Finleyville died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Edinboro Manor in Edinboro, PA.

            She was born March 27, 1927 in Elrama; a daughter of John and Bertha Cain Armstrong.

            Mrs. Curdie was retired as an operator with Parker Plastics Corporation in Castle Shannon.

            She was a member of the former Union Roads United Methodist Church in Finleyville.

            Surviving are two daughters, Robin Koskoski and her husband Edward of Edinboro and Kebbie Staley and her husband Kenneth, Sr. of Heidelberg; four grandchildren, Kerry Gilbert (Greg), Erin Magorien (Joe), and Josh (Ashley), and Kenny (Stephanie) Staley; five great grandchildren, Emily White (Cole), and Gavin, Preston, Nora and Joey Magorien; one great- great grandson, Troy White; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are her husband, James Curdie, who died in January of 2013; and five sisters, Sally Winkelvoss, Betty Evans, and Sarah, Cecelia and Bertha Armstrong.

            Special thanks to the staff at Edinboro Manor and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion.

            Friends will be received on Monday, April 9 from 11 A.M. until the time of services at 1 P.M. at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville.  Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
