Margaret F. Christman
Margaret F. “Marge” Christman, 81 of Finleyville, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Baptist Homes in Mt. Lebanon.
She was born June 19, 1939 in Brooklyn NY; a daughter of the late Anthony and Laura Serrapica Grimaldi.
Mrs. Christman was retired as an executive assistant at Glaxo Smith Kline Inc. in Pittsburgh.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville, the Red Hat Society and served as a cadet and senior leader with Girl Scout Troop 54056 in Finleyville.
Marge enjoyed family camping trips and traveling to the Jersey Shore.
Surviving are her husband; James Christman; two sons, James Christman, Jr. (Lisa) of South Park and Robert Christman (Dawnmarie) of Mt. Lebanon; a daughter; Laura Ann Christman of Bethel Park; a brother; Matthew Grimaldi of Pittstown, NJ; a sister, Antonia DeJonge of Lake Mary, FL; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue in Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at St. Francis Church, 3609 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville. Interment in Washington Cemetery will be private.
