Mark Veres, 67, of Finleyville, died Sunday May 7, 2023 in AHN Jefferson Hospital

He was born June 1, 1955, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Jane Cunningham Veres.

            Mark was retired from CDC NIOSH in South Park where he worked as a carpenter.  He was a member of the Finleyville Moose Lodge, was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and cutting his grass.

            Surviving are two sons; Christopher Veres of Monongahela and Scott (Hailey) Veres of Finleyville, two grandsons; Jayce and Jaxson Veres and two brothers; Matt and Tom Veres of Finleyville.

            Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother John Veres.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville, where a blessing service will begin at 8pm.  Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
