Millicent Powell

Millicent J. Powell, 90, of Finleyville died Friday December 10, 2021 in The Residence of Hilltop.

She was born July 6, 1931 in Union Township, a daughter of the late Albert Harry and Laverna Greenhalgh Furlong.

Millicent was retired as a mail carrier with the US Postal services in Finleyville.  She was a member of Mingo Creek Presbyterian Church, Ginger Hill Grange and order of the Eastern Star Clairton Chapter #316.

Surviving are two sons; Albert (Jamee) Powell and George (Connie) Powell both of Finleyville, one daughter; Kathy (Gerald) Marcus of Lima Ohio, six grandchildren; Stephanie, Albert, Gerald, Reanna, Amanda and Christopher and thirteen  great grandchildren.

Deceased is her husband George C. Powell

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave, Finleyville.  Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in James Chapel Cemetery, Finleyville.
