Norma Jean Kirk Handra, 73, of Finleyville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday April 24, 2024 in Washington Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1950 in Washington DC, a daughter of the late Charles and Stella Kirk.
Norma was retired from Quest Diagnostics where she worked as a technician. She loved Elvis and Western Movies with John Wayne, music, butterflies, gardening, sitting by the pool and nature, especially watching birds and deer from the back porch.
Surviving are one son; Michael “Bud” (Tina) Handra IV, one daughter Michelle (John) Salaske, eight grandchildren; Laura, Stefanie, Brandon, Ashley, Emily. Katlyn, Elizabeth and Zachary, nine great grandchildren; Payton, Raelyn, Logan, Carson, Addison, Kendalynn, Skyler, Phoenix and Charleigh, two sisters; Beverly Todd and Juanita Sabarese and Niece and Nephews; Andrew, John Eric and Barbara
Deceased in addition to her parents are two brothers: Charles Jr. and William Kirk
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4-6pm Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville, where services will begin at 6pm. Private inurnment will be held in Finleyville Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Washington Area Humane Society 1527 S.R. 136 Eighty Four PA 15330
