            Rebecca J. “Becky” Kernen, 80, of Venetia died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Donnell House in Washington.

            She was born July 5, 1940 in Indianola, PA; a daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Ball Fraser.

            Mrs. Kernen was retired from the housekeeping department at ManorCare in McMurray and was a member of Wright’s United Methodist Church in Venetia.

She enjoyed gardening, word search and jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid Pittsburgh Penguin fan.

Surviving are her husband, Louis “Buggs” Kernen, Sr.; two sons, Louis Kernen, Jr. of Venetia and Daniel Kernen (Catherine) of Monroeville; a daughter, Kathy Jo Kernen of Venetia; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are four brothers and one sister.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Finleyville Cemetery with Reverend Richards Roberts officiating.
