Ronald Dunbar

            Ronald Dunbar, 77, of Finleyville, died Saturday August 12, 2023 in AHN Jefferson Hospital.

            He was born June 4, 1946 in McKeesport, a son of the late Paul and Stella Ruffing Dunbar.

            Ron was retired from US Steel where he worked as a draftsman engineer. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Elrama Community Church, American Legion Post 613, and Loyal Order of the Moose 172 both in Finleyville and enjoyed flowers and gardening.

            Surviving are one step-daughter Tami (Joseph) Bradley of Claysville, three grandchildren; Kelsey, Joseph and Ashley, three great-grandchildren; Joseph, Elliot and Beau, one sister; Marlene (Tom) Wardle of New Eagle, brother in law; Richard Meehleib of Charleston Wva, several nieces and nephews and his “special friend” Karen Kaufman.

            Deceased are his wife Brenda Lytle Dunbar and sister Linda Meehleib.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville.  Funeral services will begin at 10am Wednesday in the Funeral Home with interment following in Monongahela Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to the Elrama Community Church  PO Box 192 Elrama PA 15038
