Ronald S. Gombar
Ronald S. Gombar, 86, of Finleyville, died Friday June 30, 2023 in AHN Jefferson Hospital
He was born October 24, 1936 in Johnstown, a son of the late Stephen and Helen Jakubek Gombar.
Ronald was retired as a teacher from the Electronic Institute in Pittsburgh
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville, the Knights of Columbus, and the Confederate Air Force.
Surviving are his wife Lenora Cable Gombar, two sons; Randall (Sandra) Gombar of McCandless Township and Richard (late Barbara) Gombar of Winter Park, Fl, one daughter; Lori (Kevin) Kenavey of Finleyville, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one sister; Rita (Dick) Williams, one sister in law Janet Gombar and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his sister Patricia Reddecliff and brother Raymond Gombar
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday in St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John XXIII Parish) with entombment following in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
