Ruth A. Philips
Ruth A. Philips, 87, of New Eagle, formerly of Venetia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018.
She was born March 25, 1931 in Bethel Park; a daughter of William and Emma Blumenstein Pfeil.
Mrs. Philips was a homemaker.
She was a member of Journey by Grace Church in Rostraver Township and recently had attended Mingo Presbyterian Church in Finleyville.
Surviving is a son, George Philips, Jr. (Donna) of Bentleyville; three daughters, Sue Smith (Bob) of Donora, Cindy Bruno (Matt) of Castle Shannon and Melanie Bavuso (Brad) of Monongahela; eight grandchildren, Robert, Amy, Megan, Morgan, Jason, Amber, Julie and Karie; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, George Henry Philips, who died in September of 2004, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 9-11 A.M., the time of services with Pastor Glenn McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Mingo Presbyterian Church, 561 Mingo Church Road, Finleyville, PA 15332 or to a charity of one’s choice.
