Ruth J. Sarsfield
Ruth J. Sarsfield, 96, of Finleyville died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her home.
She was born April 17, 1920 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of Jacob and Ruth Kaylor Hudock.
Mrs. Sarsfield was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Spalla and Eileen Wessel (Tom), both of Finleyville; five grandchildren, Gary, Christopher, David and Katie Spalla and Laurie Wessel; and five great grandchildren, Harlow, Addison, Sophia, Hannah and Olivia.
Deceased are her husband, Edward Sarsfield, who died in December of 1998; two brothers, Eugene ‘Bud’ and Leo Hudock, two sisters, Johanna and Mary Dolores Hudock, and a son-in-law, Gary Spalla.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Finleyville, with Reverend Richard J. Tusky as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
