Sam Bruno

Samuel Robert Bruno, Jr., 83, of New Eagle passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 in his home.  Born on December 20, 1940 he was the son of the late Samuel and Thelma Bruno. 

He was a retired coal miner having worked in several mines in the area. 

Sam is survived by his daughter, Claudette Holik, of Bridgeville; sons, Samuel Bruno III (Leslie), of Pittsburgh, Jeffrey Bruno (Sherry), of Pittsburgh, and Eric Bruno, of Lawrence; grandchildren, Stephen, Samuel IV, Vincent, Kirstie, Caleb, Leah and Sadie; great-granddaughter, Skyler; step-daughter, Kathryn Fonner (Jason), of Washington; step-grandchildren, Brooks and Zaelee; and his buddy (Catahoula Leopard Dog), Teddy. 

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his second wife, Susan Bruno. 

Visitation and services will be held privately with the immediate family. 

Sam will lay to rest in Mingo Cemetery.
