Sara A. Battaglia

            Sara A. Battaglia, 93, formerly of Finleyville, passed away at the home of her daughter Cindy and son in law Mark on Monday, August 31, 2020.

            She was born February 18, 1927 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of James and Margaret Dyer McPherson.

            Mrs. Battaglia was a homemaker, worked in retail, and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville.

            Surviving is a son, Gary Battaglia (Victoria) of Bremerton, WA; a daughter, Cindy Spridik (Mark) of Baldwin; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased is her husband, Anthony Battaglia, who died December 2, 2019, four sisters and one brother.

            There will be no public visitation.  Private interment will be held in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray.

            Arrangements are under the direction of Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. in Finleyville.
