Sharon Harriett

Sharon Lynn Harriett, 77, of Finleyville, passed away Thursday October 2, 2025.

She was born January 16, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late William and Margaret Purcell.

Sharon retired from J.C. Penney’s where she worked in customer service.  She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are her husband Earl Harriett, one daughter; Heather Purcell, one stepdaughter; Melodie Del Rio, one step-son; Tim (Lexi) Harriet, six grandchildren; Iain, Jackson, Aaron, Isla, George and Frances, one sister; Sandy Kempa and several nieces, nephews, and great nephews

Deceased is her sister Karen Purcell.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville, where Blessing Services will begin 11am Tuesday with interment following in Finleyville Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to a cancer charity of the donor’s choice.
