Sharon Mautino Obituary

Sharon Marie (Lambing) Mautino, 61, of Finleyville, died Friday, January 10, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 12, 1963 (Mother’s Day) in Pittsburgh; daughter of the late Lisle E. and Dorothy E. (Moser) Lambing.

Sharon was a 1981 graduate of Ringgold High School. She was a dance instructor for 36 years at the Ruby Daugherty School of Dance in Library, as well as a member of the teaching staff for the world champion baton twirling team the Modernettes Twirling Corps. of Finleyville. She was a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville.

Sharon loved nothing more than being a mom and a grammy. She was always involved in her kid’s activities while they were growing up, and nothing made her happier than listening to her grandkids play. She spent many happy Thursdays enjoying a margarita at her favorite Mexican restaurant with her friends and family. Sharon had many dogs and cats over the years that she loved dearly, but none quite as much as her dog Sophie, who was her constant companion and source of joy the past eight years.

Surviving are her husband V. Michael; a son, Tyler (Lindsey) of Warren, a daughter, Darcy (Jacob) Chrastina of Pittsburgh; a sister, Dorothy Corbin (Roger) of Bentleyville; a brother, Lisle (Ann) of Finleyville; a sister, Nancy Opfar of Glassport; two grandchildren, Evelyn Mautino and Harrison Chrastina; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Sophie.
