Stephen J. Gasper

            Stephen Joseph Gasper, 68, of Finleyville died Thursday, September 10, 2020 in the emergency room of Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills Borough.

            He was born March 27, 1952 in Braddock; a son of the late Steve and Martha Danko Gasper.

            Mr. Gasper was retired as a self-employed contractor.

            He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 712 in Pleasant Hills.

            Surviving are his wife, Susan Kovach Gasper; a son, Stephen John Gasper of Jefferson Hills; a step-daughter, Amber Quattro (James Billy) of Robinson Township; two sisters, Marian Fiore (Joe) of Murrysville and Marlene Platt (Tom) of Monroeville; a granddaughter, Brianna Rose; and several nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are two sisters, Christine Willson and Paula Gasper.

            At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation.  A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.

            Memorial contributions can be made to any veteran’s charity of the donor’s choice.

            Arrangements are under the direction of Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. in Finleyville.
