Stephen E. “Itchy” Columbus

            Stephen E. “Itchy” Columbus, 56, of Clarksville died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home.

            He was born May 11, 1960 in New Eagle; a son of Stephen J. Columbus of Monessen and the late Catherine VanVoorhis Steinmetz.

            Mr. Columbus had been employed as a carpenter with several construction firms in the area.

            He was an avid NASCAR fan.

            Surviving, in addition to his father, is a son, Jacob Columbus of California; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

            Deceased, in addition to his mother, is a brother, Robert Bradley Columbus.

            There will be no public viewing.

            A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Mingo Cemetery in Finleyville with the Reverend Richard J. Tusky officiating.

            Memorial contributions can be made to Mingo Cemetery Company, 526 Mingo Church Road, Finleyville, PA  15332.
