Steven W, Mahlberg

Steven W, Mahlberg, 52, of Finleyville, passed away Friday June 19, 2026, in Jefferson Hospital.

            He was born August 21, 1973, in Monongahela, a son of Imogene Mahlberg and the late Steven G. Mahlberg.

            Steve graduated from Ringgold High School in 1991, was a lifelong Pirate and Penguins fan and served with several local fire departments.

            Surviving are his mother and best pal; Imogene Mahlberg, uncle; Mike Mahlberg of Oregon and his fur baby Knuckles.  He will be missed by many friends, cousins, uncles and aunts.

            The family would like to thank good friends Rich Kaufman and Bill Biles for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.

            As per Steve’s wishes there will be no public viewing.  Private interment will take place in Finleyville Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., in Finleyville.
