Thomas "Tom" Fitch

Thomas “Tom” Fitch, 80, of Gastonville, passed away Monday August 5, 2024.

            He was born January 28, 1944, in New Eagle, a son of the late Sherman and Bertha Leonard Fitch.

            Tom was retired from the former Finleyville Furniture Store where he worked in restoration and refinishing. He continued the refinishing work at his own business,  Furniture Fixers.  Tom was a classic car enthusiast, enjoyed car racing, car shows and his daily walks in Mingo Park with his dog Marvin

            Surviving are his daughter Leah Fitch of Finleyville, two nephews; Paul and Scott (Michelle) McIlvaine and several great nieces and great nephews.

            Deceased are his brother Sherman Fitch and sister Nancy McIlvaine.

            Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  Memorial donations can be made to Fur Kid Rescue (furkidrescue.org), Cali Cats (calicatrescue.com) or Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal.
