Vera Garry

Vera (Senich) Garry passed away peacefully in her Finleyville home on Thursday November 24, 2022 at the age of 98

Vera was the loving wife of the late Francis M. Garry and beloved mother of Barbara E. Garry

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years as well as her sister Margaret (Senich) Tomsic and brother Andrew Senich.

Vera was a devout Roman Catholic and member of St. Francis of Assisi Church for over 77 years

In her younger days, she was quite the athlete who often played baseball and tennis with her husband.

Always a lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed nature walks, bird watching and gardening.  She was also a talented artist and seamstress.

She will be missed by her family, many friends, her precious kitties and by her devoted daughter Barbara, who will forever cherish the memory of her dear mother and friend.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12 noon Tuesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12noon Tuesday in St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John XXIII Parish) 3609 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
