Wyvetta Cushey

Wyvetta Cushey, 100, of Finleyville, died Sunday October 2, 2022 in her home.

She was born August 31, 1922 in Amsterdam Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (Wardle) Warrington.

            Wyvetta was retired from the former Mayview State hospital where she worked in the dietary department.  She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed playing cards and lottery scratch offs and loved watching the gameshow network and Pittsburgh Pirate Games.

            Surviving are her four grandchildren; Kellie and Aaron Meeks, Jeff Cushey and Betsy (Chris) Gates, three great grandchildren; Zachary Gates, Eoin and Niamh Cushey and other extended family.

Deceased are her husband, Charles R. Cushey, a son; Charles H. Cushey, a daughter, Donna L. Cushey and two brothers; Glen and James “June” Warrington.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12noon Wednesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Ave Finleyville.  A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm in Finleyville Cemetery following visitation..
