            Francis W. ‘Francois’ Lusk, 83, of Finleyville died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in John J. Kane Regional Center in McKeesport.

            He was born February 9, 1933 in Finleyville; a son of Paul and Jane Morrison Lusk.

            Mr. Lusk was retired as a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 66 in Pittsburgh.

            He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville, I.U.O.E Local 66 in Pittsburgh, and American Legion Post 613 and Moose Lodge 172, both in Finleyville.

            On December 28, 1956 he married Patricia Framancheck Lusk, who survives.

            Also surviving is a daughter, Steffanie Jones and her husband Jim of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Jim and Danielle Jones; and many nieces and nephews.

            Deceased are three brothers, James, David and Robert Lusk, and five sisters, Betty Rose, Ruth Lusk, Faye Clark, Martha Yates and Rachel Lusk.

            At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation.  Private interment will be held in Finleyville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.

            Arrangements are under the direction of Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, in Finleyville

He was a gem! A great man in the community, anyone that had the opportunity to make his acquaintance is sadly touched by this news. You all have my deepest sympathy. God bless all of you. He will truly be missed by many of us. Love and hugs to all.
